We’ve kicked off the sensible shoes (except the cozy wool slippers!), tossed aside the outdated lingo, and embraced the groovy lexicon of the modern era.

Zoomtastic

We remember the days of landlines and rotary phones very well but comfortably eased into the Zoom era! Whether it's catching up with family or joining a business meeting, everything is Zoomtastic these days and we love that we can get busy on-screen with style, even if in pj bottoms and a Nike on top.

Insta-Grand

The kids and grandkids might be Insta-famous, but we’re shining there too…even on selfies, all wrinkly and big smiles, sans the pouting or unmade bed photobombs. Sharing snaps of anything interesting but must confess a teeny obsession with sunsets #InstaGrand is indeed a grand way to show the world we're still audaciously thinking we’re living our best life.

Fintech-Fiends

The days of balancing check books are long gone. (Now that was a juggle!) Thank goodness it's all about fintech. From online banking to cryptocurrency, one of us 60-somethings has become a fintech-fiend and embraced the digital revolution to watch our savings soar and slide.

Eco-Warrior Wisdom

It's not just the younger generation that cares about the planet. We 60-somethings are jumping(!) on the eco-friendly bandwagon too. Whether it's composting, meaning burying veg and fruit peels all over in the kids’ gardens or using reusable bags till the bottoms drop. But we've become eco-warriors, saving bees and water, and are armed with wisdom…and patience.

Retirement? That's so last century! Here’s to the silverpreneur – the entrepreneurial spirit that refuses to retire and has to work till 2 weeks AD (After Death...).

Age is just a number and we’ll keep on chasing our dreams.

Who needs a leisurely stroll when you can have a step challenge? Uhhh, we do! But we are conscious of tracking those steps and aiming for the daily goal. We don’t have the Fitbit bling but love the lifestyle, strutting our stuff with a huff and a puff.

Virtual reality, smart homes, and self-driving cars – welcome to the future, where several 60-somethings are leading the charge. We didn’t invent any of the world-changing gadgets, but we sure are proud of the 60-something digital pioneers all over the world, that did!

Time for Time Management

One of the biggest buzzwords to date and in our 60’s. We’re antsy about the expression “So much to do, so little time” especially applied to getting to places we haven’t yet been. But being #slowmads our only wealth really lies in our time and thus we try to make the best of every moment.
